Welcome to the new OIE Website for Africa !

The OIE Regional Representation for Africa is thrilled to present you with the completely redesigned OIE for Africa website, still at the old trusted address : rr-africa.oie.int

Whereas tremendous efforts have been made to have the website ready by the launch date, many parts of the website are still being migrated from the old website and are therefore still “under construction”. In the following weeks, many more pages will be added, in both English and French, and archives will be completed as far back as 2008.

Therefore please bear with us while we complete this mammoth task and enjoy the new layout features of this new website (which does away with the need for a separate “mobile” website).

Please start exploring this new interface using the top menu and choose :

  • About us (Delegates, Focal Points, Regional offices and staff, Regional Commission, Reference Centres,….)
  • Our mission (a selection of contemporary topics : AMR, PPR, veterinary products, rabies, …)
  • Regional activities (capacity-building and regional projects underway)
  • Latest (latest news, latest training events, latest outbreaks reported to the OIE, upcoming events)
  • Resources (a vast database of downloadable documents and links to OIE standards and guidelines)
